TG's Focus on the Environment

Team Member Efforts

In January 2009, TG team members formed the TG Green Team, which meets regularly to discuss the corporation's current environmentally conscientious efforts and brainstorm additional cost-effective ways in which TG can reduce its environmental impact. The team holds internal awareness events and activities, initiates new programs, and proposes earth-friendly ideas for TG management's consideration. The team also promotes ways that TG team members can save energy, conserve resources, recycle, and make other environmentally friendly efforts in their personal lives.

Some of the TG Green Team's activities include:

Establishing a building-wide recycling program for plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and fiberboard. As a result of the implementation of the program, TG has reduced the frequency of its waste disposal pickups.
Hosting seminars for TG employees on eco-friendly topics such as native gardening, water conservation, and energy efficiency.
Holding events that promote an organic and vegetarian diet, environmental sustainability, and green transportation options.
