Health insurance coverage is offered through United Healthcare PPO Choice Plus.
This plan features access to an expansive network of providers and gives you the freedom to see any physician or other healthcare professional from the network, including specialists, without a referral. Coverage is also available outside of the network.
Dental insurance coverage is offered through United Healthcare Dental and includes comprehensive coverage using a network of participating dentists. Coverage is also available outside of the network.
Vision insurance is offered through the United Healthcare Vision plan which provides network and non-network benefits for eye exam and materials for a modest co-payment and features a discount plan that extends the value of your covered benefits when used at select providers.
Life Insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment
Life/AD&D insurance coverage is offered through The Hartford.
TG provides no-cost life insurance coverage in the amount of 2x annual salary for the employee. The employee's spouse and children also have no-cost life insurance of $2,000 & $1,000, respectively.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) provides an additional coverage of 2x annual salary for employees.
Voluntary supplemental life insurance is available for a variable premium depending on age and the amount of coverage desired.
Long-Term Disability insurance coverage is offered through The Hartford.
Long-Term Disability insurance is offered at no cost to the employee. Coverage provides for monthly benefits the lesser of $7,500 or 60% of salary after 90 days of continuous disability.
Critical Illness and Accident are offered through Allstate Insurance.
Provides lump-sum cash benefits to assist with out-of-pocket expenses associated with a critical illness.
Provides cash benefits for expenses associated with an accidental injury.
Dependent Care, Medical Expense Reimbursement Accounts, and Insurance Premiums
TG contracts with Boon-Chapman to administer the Cafeteria Plan account. Boon-Chapman maintains the funds in an account until reimbursement is requested.
Employees can set up special accounts to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for either dependent care or medical expenses. Contributions to either the dependent care account or the medical expense account are deducted on a pre-tax basis. Eligible expenses can be incurred by members of your tax family and include co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, etc.
Prepaid debit cards are available for easy access to dependent care or medical expense accounts.
TG offers a generous 401(k) plan.
TG encourages employees to seek educational opportunities that will enhance an employee's job performance and career goals at TG. TG reimburses up to 75 percent of tuition, fees, required books, and course-related expenses for any full-time employee enrolled in an eligible degree program. Employees are eligible for educational benefits after six months of employment.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program is offered through Alliance Work Partners.
TG employees can seek free counseling for hardships such as family and marital distress, alcohol problems, drug abuse, and depression or anxiety. Legal referrals and financial counseling are also available. Help from the Employee Assistance Program is completely confidential and no record of individual employee involvement is ever made available to Human Resources or any other party within TG.
Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays
All TG employees accrue paid time off upon date of hire. Full time employees accrue leave at the rate of 12 hours per month. This increases as employees gain tenure in the company. In addition, TG recognizes 11 paid holidays per year and employees may use eight hours per quarter for volunteer opportunities.
