TG Activities
In its everyday operations, TG shows how it values its team members
We believe that a positive working environment nourishes success for everyone. TG encourages activities in which team members can build teamwork skills and develop an appreciation of the various cultures that make up our diverse workforce.
Some of the activities that TG employees have enjoyed include:
- Annual Service Awards Ceremony — a time for employees to reflect on the past year and receive recognition for their hard work and dedication to TG; employees are recognized for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service to TG
- Black History Month — an opportunity for employees to learn about and experience the history of African-American culture in traditions, customs, and songs
- Company Picnic — a time to visit with other employees and their families
- Easter Egg Hunt — an annual event to celebrate the coming of spring and allow employees and their children to meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for colorful eggs in the park
- Latino Culture Week — a celebration of Cinco de Mayo as well as the customs and traditions of Latino culture
- Rose Fund — a relief fund managed by and for TG employees to help employees during times of need; periodic fund raising activities, such as bake sales, supply the Rose Fund reserves
- Softball Tournament — TG's tournament offers team members an opportunity to exercise, have fun, and practice team work
- Fun Events — celebrations to recognize the hard work of team members and motivate strong performance throughout the year; past events include '50s sock hop, '80s music and dress revisited, and watermelon and snow cones in the park.
