Community-based Organizations

TG is proud to collaborate with multiple community-based organizations at the state and national level that share TG's public mission to encourage more students to enter into, and successfully complete, a higher education. Below are summaries of TG initiatives and resources that may benefit these organizations, which may, in turn, bestow further support to the students and families they serve.

TG Philanthropy

Since 2005, more than $34 million in grant funding has been awarded through TG Philanthropy. The program awards grants according to an annual application cycle to nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions that propose specific solutions to address issues of college access and success for the students and families they serve.

Student Financial Education Program

Through the TG Student Financial Education Program, schools and organizations can offer those they serve an engaging curriculum of modules on such topics as managing credit, student loan counseling, saving and investing, and meeting college costs.

AIE

TG has created the awareness program Adventures In Education (AIE™, available at www.AIE.org) that helps students plan and complete their journey through higher education. By providing a website and other free resources to students, parents, counselors, and educators, AIE encourages individuals to discover and pursue educational opportunities. AIE promotes a better tomorrow by preparing students and families for the adventure today.

Resources for counselors

TG has created a Counselors page with additional resources that you may find helpful or applicable to your organization's scope of service.
