Research and analysis

Research plays a significant role in laying the groundwork for TG's default prevention offerings. TG's Research and Analytical Services (RAS) team conducts studies using college data to determine what factors contribute to default, such as debt load, part- or full-time enrollment status, and degree attainment. In its work, the RAS team uses techniques of statistical modeling to analyze default trends and to project the likelihood of default based on given factors. The team also produces white papers on effective default prevention strategies and services and regularly answers inquiries from individual schools about default trends.

Here are a few examples of TG's research.
