What is new?
The Student Profile section will display information for only four race/ethnicity groups: White, African-American, Hispanic, and Other. Other includes students not classified in the other three race/ethnicity categories. This compression of categories was necessary because of data policy decisions made by TG's data source for these fields.
What are the data sources for this report?
The School Fact Sheets reports information gathered from a variety of sources, including the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Census Bureau, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Texas Legislative Council, and Independent Colleges and Universities of Texas. Please refer to the Data Description section to trace the source of a particular statistic.
The web version provides the School Fact Sheets in either an interactive format or a printer-ready PDF format. The interactive format supports a dynamic selection feature that allows the viewer to set search parameters that will then produce a list of schools meeting the criteria. This format also generates a list of all lenders doing loan volume at a particular school with helpful links to the lender's Lender Fact Sheet. These lender lists within the School Fact Sheets report fiscal year to date loan volume at a particular school and are updated monthly. The interactive format of the School Fact Sheets is updated throughout the year as data become available.
