The Legislative Report is a publication of TG Congressional and Legislative Relations. One of the primary purposes of Congressional and Legislative Relations is to monitor legislative and congressional activity and establish and maintain effective working relationships with legislative and congressional offices and FFELP/student aid participants through the provision of timely, relevant information, advice, and input.
Legislative Report, a key mechanism for carrying out this purpose, is distributed to state legislative offices, the Texas Congressional Delegation, the Boards of Directors of the Association of Texas Lenders for Education and Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs, Inc., the TG Board of Directors, and other individuals interested in legislation relating to higher education and student financial aid.
