Lender and School Advisory Committees

Selection Process

Each year, TG requests your input in developing a slate of candidates for new Lender and School Advisory (LSA) Committee members. To fill open committee positions, TG asks for recommendations from:

  • the TASFAA and ATLE boards,
  • the FFELP community at large, and
  • TG team members.

TG then reviews both the current membership and the list of those recommended. Focusing on maintaining a good mix of regional, institution size and type, as well as ethnic and gender representation, a nomination list is then prepared. Sue McMillin, TG’s President and CEO, reviews the final list of nominees and then makes her recommendation to the Board of Directors. TG’s Board makes the final selection of LSA Committee Members.
