TG Names Deanne Varner General Counsel/SVP of Legal and Regulatory Affairs

Round Rock, Texas — Deanne Varner has been named TG's General Counsel/Chief Ethics Officer and Senior Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs.

In her new role, Varner will be part of TG's senior management team and will provide legal advice and manage the legal affairs of the corporation. She also will help develop and implement corporate ethics and compliance initiatives in support of TG's business practices.

Varner, a practicing attorney for more than 25 years, has been a general counsel at two large corporations and also has managed her own law firm specializing in corporate reorganizations, complex business transactions, and reorganization of securities transactions.

Varner has significant experience as general counsel and has served in that capacity for the past 12 years at Delta Dailyfood Texas, Inc., and Mannatech, Inc., in Coppell, Texas.

"Deanne's expertise and her extensive experience in both private practice and as corporate counsel will greatly benefit TG," said Sue McMillin, TG president and CEO. "Deanne will play a key role in helping our organization create new opportunities and will help shape TG's future role in our industry."

Varner received both her law and undergraduate degrees from Southern Methodist University.
