Round Rock, TX — Ben Loya has joined TG as a Regional Account Executive for New York and the Northeast region.

Loya, who will be based in New York City, has more than 18 years experience in the student loan industry. He most recently worked at College Loan Corporation (2003-2008) and, from 1998 to 2003, was a Senior Client Relations Manager at EdFund.
His professional experience also includes several years with the Washington, D.C.-based Coalition for Student Loan Reform and the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, as well as past positions with Arizona State University and Southwest Student Services Corporation. Loya has a long history of advocacy in education and served as a School Board Member for the Dysart Unified School District. He has worked to initiate partnerships with state agencies on the development of educational outreach projects, and has been actively involved in several K-12 and postsecondary initiatives aimed at increasing access to education.
"Mr. Loya's wealth of expertise in the student financial aid industry will prove an invaluable resource for financial aid professionals in helping students navigate paying for college," said Kevin Struckhoff, TG's assistant vice president for relationship management and consulting.
