Integrated Default Assistant™ (IDA™)
Enhance your default prevention efforts with TG's Integrated Default Assistant (IDA).
Offered free to schools, lenders, and servicers, IDA provides a versatile tool for tracking and managing TG cohort default rate performance. Using IDA, customers can access reports to identify borrowers who are delinquent and who are at-risk of defaulting on their TG-guaranteed student loans, run pre-formatted letters or create e-mail messages, and search a database of TG cohort information. IDA is accessible as a standalone application, outside of TG's application and loan management system, AdvanTG Web™.

- Offers a letter-writing tool that allows schools to communicate using printed correspondence or by e-mail with borrowers past due on payments or at risk of defaulting on their TG-guaranteed student loans.
Tools to help you manage default
- Forecast your institution's three-year cohort default rate (for TG loans).
- Identify and communicate with borrowers who are delinquent and who are at-risk of defaulting on their TG-guaranteed student loans based on pre-defined attributes, including the borrower's last enrollment status and highest academic level achieved.
- Focus default prevention efforts on specific risk factors — especially beneficial to high-volume schools.
- Identify borrowers based on TG-guaranteed loan delinquency or claim pending status.
- Generate letters in English only, Spanish only, or with an English front page and a Spanish back page.
- Print correspondence or send e-mail to borrowers.
Reports
IDA provides 14 pre-formatted statistical reports, which can be used to monitor TG cohort default and delinquency rates, identify trends, forecast default rates for the current cohort year, and review delinquency and claim status for a given cohort year.
Query
IDA offers a versatile query feature that helps schools identify and communicate with borrowers whose TG-guaranteed loans are delinquent and at risk of default.
Letter-writing component
IDA's letter writing component generates print correspondence or e-mail to communicate with borrowers at risk of default.
