The Chronicle of Higher Education recently released the Almanac of Higher Education 2011-12, an annual compilation of higher education statistics. Since the Chronicle began publishing it for subscribers, the Almanac has become a bible of sorts for those inside and outside of the academy. Its national and state-by-state account of higher education examines data surrounding finance, the profession, student demographics, access and equity, technology, and international trends inside and outside of the U.S. The Almanac also offers an accessible, handy synopsis of the latest developments in higher education. |
