Making informed decisions about managing money and paying for college is becoming ever more important for students. Average student loan debt has doubled over the past decade, larger percentages of students are borrowing to pay for college, and a large portion of students now accumulate thousands of dollars in additional credit card debt by the time they graduate. As a result, colleges and universities are recognizing the need to teach students basic skills for financial success.

TG is hosting a series of professional development symposia in 2010 to help schools with their financial literacy efforts. The symposia series will bring together experts from the higher education community who will discuss effective strategies and approaches for on-campus financial literacy programs. Participants will gain important insights to implement or improve their program and engage their colleagues in interactive discussions on this important area.
