It is vital for financial aid administrators to stay abreast of new requirements and policy trends. Join us at this session to hear highlights of final regulations effective July 1, 2012, federal common forms, and other activities on the horizon including another round of negotiated rulemaking.

This session will examine, and debunk, several common myths about the factors that impact student loan default rates. Presenters will harness industry research to clear up potential misunderstandings pertaining to default risks, causes, and statistics. Attendees will gain helpful information that can be used to improve student counseling sessions, enlighten a school's administration and default management team, and develop policies and procedures that are compliant with federal regulations.
