Donald Hossler, Ph.D.
Dr. Donald Hossler is a professor of educational leadership and policy studies within Indiana University at Bloomington’s school of education. Building on more than 30 years of expertise and experience within the academy, Dr. Hossler’s primary research efforts encompass student college choice, persistence, enrollment management, and higher education finance. The scope of Dr. Hossler’s expertise is national, with a comparative education perspective. His work is well published, and his expertise is highly sought within the educational community. Dr. Hossler teaches courses within graduate programs for higher education and student affairs, maintains active involvement with a variety of industry-related committees and programs across the nation, and he recently earned the Award for Excellence in Mentoring from Indiana University’s school of education. Dr. Hossler graduated from California Lutheran University with a degree in psychology and went on to earn his Doctorate in higher education from Claremont Graduate University.
Mike Scott
Mike Scott serves as the director of scholarships and student financial aid at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he coordinates the university’s retention efforts and is a member of the enrollment management team. Mike has served on advisory boards for a variety of companies and educational organizations, including the Council for the Management of Educational Finance, the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG), JPMorgan Chase & Co., the College Board, and PeopleSoft, Inc. Mike regularly presents for several educational organizations, including the European Council of International Schools, the Association of Foreign Student Advisors, the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators, and the Association of College Admission Counselors. Mike specializes in global education and has conducted workshops in Europe, Central America, Mexico, and Canada. Mike earned an MBA from TCU and has served as a financial aid professional for more than 20 years.
Elizabeth Holland Stanley
As TG’s director of student persistence and success, Elizabeth H. Stanley brings more than 16 years of experience in college enrollment and higher education services to the organization. Prior to TG, Elizabeth spent six years with The College Board, where she served as interim vice president for the southwestern region and chief educational manager for higher education relationship development. Prior to service with The College Board, Elizabeth held several positions within St. Edward’s University, where she developed and executed strategies for doubling the institution’s enrollment. During her tenure at St. Edwards’s University, Elizabeth also served as assistant, associate director, and director of admissions. She began her career in higher education in 1993 as an admission counselor at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and later served as the university's assistant director of admission. Stanley earned a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University, with a concentration in Business and Spanish, and a master's degree in human services from St. Edward's University.
