Community College Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Policies
Participants will identify components of the Drug Free School Community Act (DFSCA) and Jeanne Clery Act to comply with federal mandates, understand purposes for having campus drug and alcohol abuse prevention policies, and explore ideas for developing such policies.
Presenters will include:
- Martha Ellis, Ph.D., Associate Vice Chancellor, Community College Partnerships, University of Texas System;
- Mary Hill, Coordinator for Texas Statewide Prevention for Higher Education and Center Fellow for U. S. Department of Education's Higher Education Center; and
- Vickie Adams, Coalition Coordinator, Circles of San Antonio Community Coalition.
